Our Mission
Our Vision
A new traditional service is held every Sunday at 11 AM.
Pastor Melissa S. Nelson delivers the message every Sunday morning.
She is currently pastoring two different congregations. At 9 am she can be found preaching at the Los Fresnos United Methodist
Church before coming over to FUMC San Benito.
Our service seeks to bring glory to God and help people connect to the Lord
through insightful sermons and the singing of traditional hymns. The music is accompanied by a blend of pipe organ and piano. There are two special cantatas held during the Christian year; one in Lent and another during the Advent season. Holy Communion
is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.
A printed bulletin and projected media is used during the service.
There are also personal sound packs available for those who have trouble hearing.
